Madrid

Madrid

Wamos Air operates from Terminal 1 of Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport. The check-in desks are located between 119 and 136 and usually open 4 hours and close 60 minutes before the flight's departure time.

Getting there

There are a wide variety of ways to reach T1 of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport:

By public transport:

The airport can be reached by taxi, metro, local trains or bus.

Metro: Using line 8 leaving Nuevos Ministerios and arriving at the Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3 station.

Local Renfe trains: Taking line C1 passing through Príncipe Pio, Atocha Recoletos and Nuevos Ministerios, arriving at terminal 4 of the airport. From there, you can take a shuttle connecting this terminal to terminal 1.

Bus:

  • Line 101: From Canillejas to the Aeropuerto (T123). It stops at: T1 Departures - Arrivals, T2 Arrivals.
  • Line 200: From Avenida de América to the Aeropuerto (T123). It stops at: T2 Arrivals and T1 Arrivals.
  • Interurban Line 822: From Coslada to Aeropuerto T1. It stops at: T1 Departures (door 3).
  • Interurban Line 824: From Alcalá de Henares to Aeropuerto T1. It stops at: T1 Departures - Arrivals, T2 Departures - Arrivals.

Own car:

The airport is situated 20 km from the city of Madrid. If you are taking your own vehicle, you can consult the car parks available at the airport

VIP Lounge

The Cibeles VIP Lounge is situated on the second floor of terminal 1. It is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed 4 hours before your flight's departure. Passengers travelling in Business Class will have access to the lounge included. Economy Class passengers who wish to contract the service will be able to do so at the desks at the entrance to the lounge.

Lost Objects/Luggage

If you have left behind any personal object:

On the plane:

Go to the company’s Luggage Service desk in Arrivals Hall 1 of terminal 1, identified with the Wamos Air logo, and our handling agent's staff will inform you whether the object has been located.

You can also contact by telephone (tel. +34 91 5873761), where you will be informed whether it has been located and how to proceed to collect the object.

In the airport:

You can get in contact with the Aena Lost and Found office in Terminal 1, where they will tell you if the object has been found.

Passport or identity document:

If you have left your passport or identity document on the plane or in the airport, it will be handed in to the airport’s police station. Take into account that other documents, credit cards, etc. are not accepted by the police, only national identification documents or passports.

Cancun

Cancun

Wamos Air operates from Terminal 3 of Cancun International Airport. Only international flights to the United States and Europe operate from this terminal. The check-in desks are located on the first level of the terminal, while the departure lounges are located on the second level.

The check-in desks open 4 hours and close 60 minutes before the flight's departure time.

The airport has a shuttle that is free and connects terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. The service is available 24 hours a day and runs every 30 minutes between terminals.

Getting there

By car:

  • From the Hotel Zone: Southbound on Avenida Kukulkan to punta Nizuc as far as the junction of carretera 307 to carretera Aeropuerto de Cancun.
  • From central Cancun: Take Avenida Colosio southwards (carretera 307) as far as the junction of carretera Aeropuerto Cancun.
  • From Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen: Take carretera 307 northbound as far as carretera Cancun Aeropuerto.

Bus:

There are only two options on ADO buses:

  • From Playa del Carmen, from the bus station, every hour from 6 am to 11 pm.
  • From central Cancun from 5 am to midnight from the ADO bus terminal.

The other option is by taxi, located outside the hotels and available 24 hours a day.

Transfer on arrival

Passengers from international destinations cannot transfer as the Customs Act establishes that all passengers entering the national territory must collect their luggage.

Passengers with connecting flights with other companies will have to take into account the time necessary to pass through immigration and customs control, the transport time between terminals and the time necessary to check in with the company they are flying with. Wamos Air recommends that you have at least the following margins:

  • Arrival T3-Departure T3: Minimum connection time 2:30 hours.
  • Arrival T3-Departure T4: Minimum connection time 2:45 hours.
  • Arrival T3-Departure T2: Minimum connection time 3 hours.

VIP Lounge

The VIP Lounge is located in the pre-boarding area. After passing through security and the Duty Free, turn to the right and head towards Buba Gump restaurant. After the restaurant, turn to the right. The VIP Lounge is at the end of the corridor.

It is open from 7 am to 10 pm, and passengers may stay there a maximum of 3 hours. Passengers travelling in Business Class and passengers who make the payment directly in the VIP Lounge can enter. Due to limitations of space, access may be restricted.

Lost Objects/Luggage

For information on lost luggage or objects, it is necessary to go to the airport’s Security Office (open from 9 am to 5 pm every day) or call (01152) 998 848 72 00.

Guatemala

Guatemala

La Aurora International Airport (GUA), situated in Guatemala City, has a single terminal from which Wamos Air operates.

The Wamos Air desk is located on the third level, at the end on the left-hand side. The check-in desks open 4 hours and close 1 hour before the departure.

It is important to mention that the access of friends and family to the check-in area is not permitted; only passengers are permitted.

Getting there

The airport is located in Guatemala City, in capital zone 13, some 6 km from the city centre. It is recommended to access it in a private vehicle or by taxi arranged with your hotel.

Varadero

Varadero

Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport (VRA), situated in Varadero, Cuba, has a single terminal from which Wamos Air operates.

The check-in desks open 4 hours and close 1 hour before the departure.

It is important to stress that passengers must keep hold of their visa both on arrival and leaving the country. If you arrive without a visa or with an incorrectly completed visa, you must pay CUC 75 to be able to enter or leave the country.

Getting there

The airport is situated 36 kilometres from the city of Varadero. It is recommended to access it in a private vehicle or by taxi arranged with your hotel (estimated cost of CUC 30).

Lost Objects/Luggage

There is a single lost and found department for all the companies and it is in the arrivals hall upon entering the country after passing through immigration control.

VIP Lounge

Varadero airport’s VIP Lounge is located after the security area before going up to the boarding area. Passengers who have booked their trip in Business Class will have access to it.

Punta Cana

Punta Cana

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is located 30 km to the south of Punta Cana's complexes and resorts.

Wamos Air's check-in is in terminal A. The check-in desks open 4 hours and close 1 hour before the departure.

Getting there

Bus:

The company Dominican Airport Transfers (tel. +1 407 420 7646) offers private or shared minibus services between the airport and different hotels and resorts of the area.

Taxis:

Vehicles with set tariffs available 24 hours and day outside the customs area. The journey to the city centre takes around 15 minutes. More information Tel. +809 552 0617 / 221 2741 / 466 1133.

VIP Lounges

The Punta Cana VIP Lounge is located on the first floor of Terminal A and is open from 8 am until the last flight of the day. The lounge has computers, sandwiches, drinks, TV, air conditioning, newspapers, magazines, telephones and Wi-Fi.
