About Us

Wamos Air was founded in 2003. We still remember that first flight to Cancun with excitement. That is how it all started and how our desire to make the dreams of each of our passengers a reality was born. This year we are celebrating our 15th anniversary and, thankfully, this desire remains today as alive as ever.

OUR HISTORY

About us

We are currently the third-leading long-haul airline in Spain, with air capacity of over 1,600,000 seats a year thanks to our fleet of five Boeing 747-400 and seven Airbus 330-200.

Our business model is based on three essential pillars:

  • Regular flights. We currently operate in this modality to Mexico (Cancun), the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) and Cuba (Varadero), combining traditional landscape with tourist landscape provided by Wamos Tours, the Wamos Group's tour operator.
  • Charter operations. Wamos Air has been rendering service to the passengers of Pullmantur Cruises for 15 years, flying to boarding cities in both Europe and the Caribbean. Additionally, Wamos Air performs a significant volume of flights for companies that want to move large numbers of clients or employees from one city to another in any part of the world. These are known as “incentives flights”.
  • Wet Lease operations. An important part of our activity is focused on the flights operated for other airlines under the Wet Lease system. The operational capacity to react and the high level of satisfaction achieved among our customers make us one of the reference airlines at global level in this market segment.
