Wamos Air is in the process of diversifying its business, with great success. The heart of our business, air transport, continues to grow.

It also carries out both line maintenance on its fleet using its own resources and maintenance for other clients which operate the B747-400, given the experience and capabilities acquired by Wamos Air in its almost 10 years of operation.

These facets range from assistance for putting aircraft into service or withdrawing them from your fleet, technical analysis of aircraft and engines, CAMO services to comply with EASA Part M requirements, management of commercial relationships and consultancy on repairs/centres, B747-400 maintenance services, whether routine or special ad-hoc tasks, through its approved Part 145 Centre, to logistics and purchasing support, taking advantage of Wamos Air’s ample capabilities based on its own operations and experience.

Wamos Air’s Technical Services offer a broad portfolio to meet our clients’ needs. These services are executed by highly qualified and experienced maintenance technicians and engineers.

Our main aim is to achieve proactive, stable and efficient service to clients, combined with sound experience and an innovative approach.

Wamos Air has been carrying out maintenance tasks for third parties for three years. Worthy of highlighting are the A Checks, Engine Changes, troubleshooting and Engineering Services for Aerosur, the Bolivian airline that flies to Spain with its B747-400 several times per week.

3. SERVICES

Services

In the withdrawal or redelivery of your aircraft, Wamos Air provides support to technical inspection and the studying of all documentation, as well as maintenance records. We check whether the Redelivery Conditions determine any actions to comply with the requirements and we propose modifications.

When a client is developing its business, we can help to research the optimum business scenario for Maintenance and can analyse fleet maintenance costs by identifying the optimum fleet or configuration of it.

Our CAMO service helps clients maintain and optimise the configuration of their aircraft by evaluating modifications, proposing changes to maintenance schedules and investigating structural and internal problems. We prepare and propose final solutions for repairs, as well as instructions for required maintenance.

Operators can minimise costs related to component management and maximise their availability by contracting our Component Purchasing and/or Leasing Services. With these services, the client has all Wamos Air’s stock availability and supply chain benefits without needing to invest in its own.

3.1 Consultancy

Consultancy

Wamos Air’s Consultancy Technical Services will be able to help you in configuring, commissioning or withdrawing aircraft or whole fleets. Our experience in the ever-complex Delivery / Redelivery processes is certain to be of help to you!

We offer prior analysis of all types of candidate aircraft for our clients’ fleets in the case of possible fleet change processes, as well support in Delivery or Redelivery processes, including:

  • configuration inspections, fulfilment of delivery conditions
  • Scheduling of test flights and tests on the ground;
  • Structural study, map of dents/repairs;
  • system tests;

  • checking of documentation;

3.2 Airworthiness / CAMO

Airworthiness

Our CAMO Services are approved for fulfilment of the EASA Part M requirements applicable to the operator.

These services include::

  • Control and Development of configurations.
  • Execution, Management and Planning of the Maintenance Programme.
  • Development and Management of the Reliability Programme.
  • Monitoring of Engines and APUs.
  • Aircraft, Engine and Component Service Life.
  • Production Plan for airworthiness, checking and repair maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting and assistance.

Our CAMO Service has worked on Wamos Air and other airlines’ fleets since 2003.

We provide full fleet management support including an Aircraft Management Service and a Management Programme for Engines, APUs and Reverse Thrusters.

We manage international commercial relationships to achieve the most efficient solutions in fleet management. We help you to configure your aircraft, put them into service, withdraw them or redeliver them.

Our CAMO service helps clients maintain and optimise the configuration of their aircraft by evaluating modifications, proposing changes to maintenance schedules and investigatingstructural and internal problems. We prepare and propose final solutions for repairs, as well as instructions for required maintenance.

Our CAMO Service includes:

  • Evaluation and recording of AD and SB, ASR/MSR analysis.
  • Advice and instructions for Structural Repairs.
  • Adaptation of Maintenance tasks.
  • Consultancy on aircraft delivery/redelivery
  • Development of Maintenance concepts and processes.
  • Support for aircraft logistical, structural, systemic and documentation problems.

3.3 MRO / Part 145 Centre

Part 145 Centre

Wamos Air’s facilities and teams, , added to its extensive experience, enable us to provide the highest standards of quality together with great price competitiveness in all ourour repairs, checks and modifications to our clients’ components. .

Our experience with our own airline provides us with real knowledge of operator needs, while our capabilities give us the appropriate tools to resolve them. We have acquired/redelivered aircraft in Europe, Asia and the United States

Our MRO/Part 145 Centre Services include:

  • Start-Up assistance
  • Change of configuration
  • Quality Systems
  • Carrying out of preflight, daily and weekly inspections, A Check and any other routine checks on a 24/7 basis.
  • Carrying out of non-routine or ad-hoc checks, such as troubleshooting, defect rectification, minor structural repairs and continuing assistance from our personnel. This support can be offered in Madrid and at other bases outside Madrid on request.
  • Component changes, including changes of engines, APUs or landing gear.

3.4 Logistics and purchasing

Logistics and purchasing

Operators can minimise costs related to component management and maximise their availability by contracting our Component Purchasing and/or Leasing Services. . With these services the client has all Wamos Air’s stock availability and supply chain benefits without needing to invest in its own.

The Logistics and Purchasing Service includes numerous components for:

  • Aircraft.
  • Engine.
  • APU´s
  • Reverse thrusters
  • Tyres and brakes
  • Batteries and other DGR components.

With these services, the client receives the component Wamos Air needs to repair as an advance exchange for the client’s out-of-service component. The re-certified exchanged component will later be returned to the client, while Wamos Air recovers its component. The benefit of this service is to maintain a high level of reliability in dispatch of the client’s fleet with low costs. . The need for involving the client’s personnel is also minimised, as Maintenance Services take charge of all the related administrative tasks.

The Logistics and Purchasing Service usually covers all logistics chain activities (warehousing, packing, dispatch, transport, inspection on receipt, etc.). Logistics Services are available anywhere in the world and are carried out jointly with goods carriage companies.

Component rental is normally required for the most critical components, which are usually to be found at the client’s main base (main base kit) or on board (flight kit). The definition of the contents of both kits is based on the client’s specific needs and the experience of Wamos Air’s Maintenance Service.
